How you will make an impact The Electrician (Maintenance) is responsible for maintaining all aspects of buildings, equipment, machinery and electrical infrastructure in a safe and efficient operational manner. This role requires a tradesman that is capable of working as part of a team and individually to deliver the best outcomes for Cabrini Health patients. Key responsibilities include:
Performing maintenance and electrical duties
Using all equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Remaining vigilant, observing for and fixing faults and defects in plant, machinery, switchboards, equipment and buildings
Adhering to all policies and procedures
Utilising the engineering MMS to identify, track and record work and to enter data as required
Participating in on-call roster
About you The successful candidate will be an experienced Electrician that is able to work autonomously, be proactive, are flexible, and has a multidisciplinary approach. You will also have the following:
Current Victorian A Grade electrical license
Proven ability to diagnose and repair electrical issues with extensive fault finding skills
Experience with the safe use of a wide variety of tools, test and measuring equipment
Experience with air conditioning controls and equipment highly regarded
Experience with the use of Building Management Systems to diagnose and repair
Boiler and chiller experience is highly regarded
