At DM & CT DENTAL PTY LTD @ Bay of Isles Dental Clinic, We are looking for a full time (at least 38 hours per week) skilled Dental Assistant to perform the following duties:
Responsibilities
• Engage with patients, listening to their concerns, and making them feel comfortable during their visits.
• Handling office-related duties, such as phone calls, appointment scheduling, and record-keeping.
• Setting up and preparing exam rooms for patient appointments.
• Sterilizing dental instruments and equipment to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Preparing examination and surgical rooms.
• Assisting in taking X-rays to identify affected areas.
• Performing routine dental cleanings and assisting in more complex surgical procedures.
• Providing hands on support to dentist during the dental procedures.
• Passing instruments, suction fluids, and help with tasks like fillings, extractions, and other treatments.
• Offering patients guidance and materials for maintaining optimal dental health.
• Ensuring a surgically clean work environment to prevent the spread of infection and disease.
Requirements
• The right candidate will have at least 1 years of experience
• A can-do attitude and ability of working independently.
Position: Full Time
Salary: $65,000 – 80,000 per year
