Job Title: Works Maintenance Officer
Job Summary:
The Works Maintenance Officer at Multotec Australia will provide technical service and support to ensure all equipment is in optimal repair to meet Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) targets. Reporting to the Group Operations Manager, this role involves managing preventative maintenance activities, engaging with stakeholders, and actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills:
- Strong electrical/mechanical maintenance skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop preventative maintenance plans
- Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
- Problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail
Responsibilities:
- Develop preventative maintenance plans for plant and equipment
- Perform electrical/mechanical maintenance on machinery within budget and time constraints
- Coordinate maintenance schedules with planning department and service providers
- Assist operators in diagnosing and correcting machine errors
- Identify potential equipment issues that may impact future machine availability
- Plan and conduct machine relocations as needed
