White’s IGA is an innovative, market leading, independently owned and operated supermarket group based on the Sunshine Coast. Roz and Michael White purchased a small convenience store in Maroochydore in 1993. White's IGA are one of the largest independent supermarket groups on the Sunshine Coast with over 500 staff. Our stores are designed to cater to the unique needs of the Sunshine Coast community with a focus on ‘fresh and local’.
About the Role:
White’s IGA is now seeking trade-qualified butcher's (Meat Processor) to join our family friendly team. These roles will help cover the Meat Manager's days off and provide support on meat sale days across our stores. These roles will report directly to the Meat Manager.
About You:
Successful candidates will require attributes including:
- Previous experience in working within the meat industry.
- Strong customer service skills and passion to provide an exceptional shopping experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Trade-qualified Butcher (Cert II in Meat Processing or Cert III in Retail Butchery).
- Ability to regularly lift up to 20kgs is an essential requirement.
- Friendly, approachable and positive team player.
- Willingness to embrace White’s IGA unique ‘locavore’ culture.
