Position Description
We are seeking a dedicated Service Technician- Electrical to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
· Carrying out the total maintenance needs of all hire fleet assets
· Carrying out electrical installations, decommissioning and attending to breakdowns as required
· Assisting electrical engineers in the design/layout of electrical installations,
· Performing electrical testing of systems
· Conducting required scheduled servicing to maintain optimum fleet performance
· Preparing drawings plans and diagrams for electrical installations
· Maintaining the levels of all required materials and ensuring the appropriate tools are in place and maintained ready for use
· Contributing to optimum team performance and capability by providing quality workmanship to maintain and enhance the reliability of equipment
· Carrying out effective troubleshooting to minimise downtown and unnecessary repair costs
· Maintaining and enhancing relationships and communication with internal and external customers
· Providing technical support to the Sales Team when required
About You
To be successful in obtaining this role, you will have:
· A bachelor’s degree or Diploma in a relevant field and 2 years of relevant work experience; or
· A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
· Exceptional communication skills
· Strong customer focus
· Ability to work under pressure and make deadlines
· Planning, problem solving and coordination skills
· Ability to work unsupervised at times
Salary
If successful, you will be paid a salary between $85,000- $95,000 per annum.
