Materials handling company Starlluf Cranes Pty Ltd T/A Cranetec specializing in overhead cranes and lifting equipment
has many large organizational customers. Due to rapid growth of business, we are
seeking a Service Technician (Electrical) with solid experience and good mechanical aptitude in
our Sydney Branch.
Job Summary
As a Service Technician- Electrical your roles will include but not limited to:
Examining specifications and preparing materials and equipment for installations
Responsible for installations of cranes including connecting new wires and cables to
connectors and handling materials and other equipment in a professional and tradesman like
manner.
Carrying out project and preventative maintenance work by diagnosing faults and repairing
faulty electrical parts
To communicate with clients in a professional manner.
Ensure work is performed, within agreed times and to an acceptable standard ensuring all
work complies with current Australian and State standards.
Requirement:
• Relevant qualification at the level of an Advanced Diploma or Diploma or higher, OR at least 3 years of relevant work experience
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in same or similar position within the last 5 years
• Industrial maintenance repair and service experience
• Experience in troubleshooting and fault finding and servicing of Overhead cranes.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision is essential.
• Good communication skills and presentation
• Advantageous qualifications but not essential
• Working at Heights certificate
• A positive and self-motivated attitude
• Sound problem solving skills
• Understand electrical design and fault finding
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage priorities
• Understanding of OH&S
• Current driver's license
Our Offer:
Attractive hourly rate ,$40.00-$45.00,depending on work experience.
