The Trustee for WT Goolwa Pharmacy Unit Trust You will be responsible for supplying medicines, including prescription and non-prescription medicines in accordance with the Pharmacy Board of Australia and National Health Act regulations and guidelines. Benefits Employee discount Professional development assistance Task & Responsibilities Duties will include: Dispensing prescription medicines (including medicine counselling) Reviewing customer’s dispense history files to ensure medicines are prescribed correctly and subject to any limitations imposed by law and/or prescribing practitioners. Providing advice including in relation to the use and administration of medicines, health products, therapeutic devices, side effects, drug contraindications/interactions, etc. Adhering to requirements relating to the dangerous drugs, including updating and maintaining dangerous drugs register. Maintain dispensary stock, including stock rotation, ordering, expiry-date checking and ensuring that medicines and vaccines are stored in required conditions. Maintain pharmacy security, including the secure opening and closing of the pharmacy as required.
