About the Opportunity
Due to consistent growth across our business, we are now seeking an Apprentice Fitter and Turner to join our highly motivated team, located in Mount Isa, North West Queensland 4825.
Your responsibilities in this role will include;
Rebuilding damaged hydraulic cylinders, pumps and valves
Maintaining hydraulic power units and systems
Fault finding hydraulic circuits and control systems
Installing hydraulic power units, tubes and hoses
Modifying hydraulic systems and operations for improved performance
Operating machinery to produce parts by turning, boring, milling, honing, grinding or drilling metal stock or components
Carrying out welding repairs and fabricating sub-frames
