The Opportunity
We have a brand new opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Officer to join our chemicals division (Major Hazard Facility) at Laverton North, Victoria. This position is responsible for ensuring efficient and effective service delivery to the customers and business team, through the provision of administrative and customer service functions. This role has the potential to progress into a leadership position within our business. As the Customer Service Officer, you will be responsible for:

Managing customer accounts and all enquiries diligently whilst providing and maintaining outstanding customer service at all times
Processing orders using PWMS and RAMCO via data entry (Current Management Systems)
Liaising with customers regularly regarding order status and providing updates as required
General administrative functions
Updating and maintaining a customer database
Building relationships and effectively communicating with all stakeholders including customers, warehouse and transport as required

About you:

Previous experience in a high-volume customer service position including high level data entry and email communication with customers
Previous experience/exposure to transport or warehouse industry highly regarded
Excellent computer, literacy and numeracy skills
Motivation and commitment
Ability to meet deadlines
Organisational, time management, communication, conflict resolution and customer service skills
