Child Care OSHC Coordinator
Child Care Australia United Ltd is a not-for-profit organisation with an impressive history in providing before and after school care services to children and families across the Sutherland Shire. Our ethos is to work with families, local schools and other groups to build a great sense of community and belonging. We currently seek educators who are self-motivated, hands-on, and have positive attitude towards work. The successful candidates will be supported by a quality-focused coordination and management team and assist the day to day operations of the OSHC program.
To be successful in this role you will need to:
1.developing and implementing programs to enhance the physical, social, emotional and intellectual development of young children
2.providing care for children in before-school, after-school, day, and vacation care centres
3.directing and supervising educators in providing care and supervision for young children
4.ensuring the centre is a safe area for children, staff and visitors
5.complying with relevant government requirements and standards
6.liaising with parents
7.maintaining records and accounts for the centre
8.recruiting staff and coordinating professional development
Position Requirements:
An innovative, motivated and passionate approach to creating quality education and care settings for children aged 5-12
overseas applicants must satisfy Australian immigration requirements
Regulated Requirements (completed or willing to obtain)
· A current Employee Working with Children's Check
· Child Protection Training
General Work Hours
· Part time or Full time
· Monday – Friday
· Before school care 7-9am
· After School Care 2:00pm - 6:00pm
Plus Admin. hours
