Liftek Australia Pty Ltd is a local company based in Griffith NSW carrying a large range of quality new and used equipment for sale, including many makes and models of forklifts. We are also stockists of a large range of material handling and cleaning equipment. Currently we are seeking to employ two qualified and experienced Fitter to join our workshop in Griffith NSW 2680.
The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and blueprints to determine suitable equipment and actions required.
- Fitting, assembling, and examining metal parts and subassemblies to produce machines and equipment accurately, also diagnosing and repairing faults
- Creating a suitable maintenance schedule and performing system maintenance accordingly
- Conducting diagnostic testing on malfunctioning systems to determine root cause of the malfunction
- Replacing damaged or defective structural components as needed.
- Adhering to all work - site safety rules and regulations.
Skills and Abilities:
- Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical Trade or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in this role or similar
- Ability to work in a team environment
Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience
