We are looking for an organised, enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our events team as an Events Specialist.
The Role:
Coordinate the operations and successful delivery of all our virtual and face to face events
Promoting conferences and workshops
Responding to inquiries concerning services provided and costs for room and equipment hire, catering and related services
Outlining package options to meet customer needs
Overseeing work by contractors and reporting on variations to work orders
Coordinating services, such as conference facilities, signage, displays, audio and visual equipment, accommodation, catering transport and social events for participants
Registration of participants and speakers
Negotiating services to be provided within budget
About You:
You are detail oriented, passionate about providing exceptional customer experiences and a natural problem solver
You are determined and motivated, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills are required due to supplier, venue and delegate management being a big focus of the role
Previous experience in customer service, event coordination or hospitality are advantageous but not essential
Administration experience is preferred
