We are currently recruiting for a Lecturer in the discipline of Social Work, with eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers. The primary focus of this role is to provide leadership in social work education, particularly the convening and teaching of counselling and practice courses. The successful applicant will support the delivery of high-quality social work education that prepares graduates to enter the field with confidence and competence. This role includes supervision of Honours Dissertations and Higher Degree Research candidates as well as research and scholarship in learning and teaching. It is expected that applicants will have a well-developed research agenda that aligns with strategic priorities of the School of Health Sciences and Social Work. This will include active engagement with external stakeholders in both research and practice.
This is a full time, fixed term position (12-month contract) based at the Nathan campus. It is expected that the successful candidate will be available to attend campus in person as a normal requirement of the role.

Salary Range
The base salary for Lecturer (Level B) is in the range $108,298 - $128,608 per annum, plus 17% employer superannuation. The total package is in the range $126,708 - $150,471 per annum.
