About your role
As our new Occupational Hygiene Officer in the Health, Safety, Environmental & Tailings department at QAL, you will be empowered, encouraged and supported to ensure a safe working environment for our team members across site.
Reporting directly to the Specialist Occupational Health & Hygiene, you will contribute to our Safe, Stable and Sustainable vision by:
Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with site health, environmental and community policies, systems and procedures
Assisting the Occupational Hygiene team in the planning, design, and implementation of occupational hygiene programs and control measures
Conducting occupational exposure monitoring, data entry, investigations and managing the results feedback process
Conducting field observations, measurements and investigations including the review of control effectiveness
