Relevant certifications or professional membership/working experience relating to:
Sun/Oracle Solaris 10, 11 (in SPARC)
Solaris Containers (Solaris Virtualization)
Solaris cluster services
AIX
Red Hat Linux
Security Hardening
Satellite and other automation technologies to maintain currency.
Experience in other technologies and operating systems would be beneficial to this role.

Coupled with your education and practical experience, you will demonstrate a pro-active approach with the ability to understand the business, identify issues and develop relationships to achieve the company?s objectives.
You will also have:
Current AIX experience supporting, managing and upgrading enterprise AIX systems in the Defence environment
Substantial professional experience working in a role within an engineering or project environment (preferably in a similar industry);
Proven experience administering, configuring and managing large scale automated Solaris/AIX/Unix/RHEL infrastructure solutions.
