Knoxfield Automotive Repairs, located in Wantirna South, VIC, has been providing top-quality automotive services for over 25 years. Position: Motor Mechanic
Salary Range: $75,000 - $80,000 plus superannuation.
Location: 2/2 Eastgate Ct, Wantirna South VIC 3152
Job Type: Permanent position, Full time

Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Diagnose and repair light motor vehicles like replacing transmission, replacing clutch, replacing brake pads, disc rotor, ball joints, coolant flush, brake flush and all suspension work.
2. Making car ready prior for RWC inspection
3. Using diagnostic tools to scan the car.
4. Keep equipment available for use by inspecting and testing vehicles, completing preventive maintenance such as, engine tune-ups, oil changes, tyre rotation and changes, wheel balancing, replacing filters.
5. Repairs or replace worn or faulty parts by removing assemblies such as transmissions, differentials, or steering dismantling them and checking parts.
6. Tune engines using special electronic equipment and make fine adjustments for smoother running.
7. Diagnose, repair, and replace engine management and fuel injection components.
8. Test and repair electrical systems such as lighting, instrumentation, ignition, and electronic fuel injection.
9. Supply technical assistance and support.
10. Performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrication, coolant and filter.
11. Order parts from various suppliers.
12. Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.

To be considered for this role:
1. Minimum of two - three years of practical experience in the same field or a similar equivalent.
2. Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis or equivalent education level.
3. Full working rights within Australia are essential.
