We are seeking qualified Fitters for our Client, a Global company based in the Southeastern Suburbs. This position is a permanent position on Day shift, 7 am start commencing as soon as possible.
Duties include but not limited to are as follows:
• Assemble products in line with work instructions to required standards and quality procedures as required in the day to day running of
the fitting shop along with bought in equipment and customer specific requirements.
• Test products in line with testing procedures and work instructions to the required standards. Must have a pro-active manner in ensuring
customer specific requirements are met and be able to assist with troubleshooting as required.
• Work closely with the project team and third-party contractors as required.
• Work with and advise the Supervisor of any discrepancies with components that are not readily available for projected orders.
• Advise and/or escalate to Quality/Supervision of any product defects identified during assembly.
• Provide recommendations and measures to continually improve product assembly methods, equipment performance, and the quality of
the product.
• Display a level of professionalism that provides the platform for a positive working environment.
• Comply with all policies and procedures.
• Promote the process of continuous improvement with all team members.
• Adhere to and play an active role in the Company’s OHS processes, systems and legislative compliance.
• Perform such other duties relevant to the position, as necessary.
