About the role:
As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will coordinate on-site mechanical engineering activities to achieve project time and budget objectives. You are responsible for providing engineering skills for a designated project through technical, engineering, inspection, scheduling, planning, survey, procurement, and quality control based on CJC / Client standards. On-Mechanical: The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for ensuring the safe and successful completion of the project on schedule, within budget, and to the specified quality.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Monitor machinery to identify machine issues and report complex problems.
• Provide support in planning materials, resources, components, or systems.
• Assist with the development of planning documents.
• Used equipment properly to avoid workplace hazards or injuries.
• Design flow piping channels for heavy-duty machines operated around 2000 Psi hydraulic pressure.
• Conduct material selection and load analysis of designed components.
• CAD-modelled assembly using SolidWorks and performed stress-strain analysis
• Analyse reports from maintenance effectiveness reports and define cost control measures for non-added activity.
• Ensure works are compliant with Mechanical community restrictions and commitments.
• Work closely with Mechanical supervisors to provide engineering and technical support
• Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of activities.
• Provide innovative solutions to complex challenges and strive towards safety, environmental, specification, design and contractual requirements.
• Manage the quality assurance of works and oversee procurement requirements.
• Improve and adapt maintenance schedule according to new machine installation.
• Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities to ensure that projects are implemented with plans, designs, and specifications.
• Monitor construction progress for adherence to the programme and report to the Mechanical manager or project manager.
• Interpret designs for implementation in construction projects.
• Prepared machines for daily use by calibrating and performing preventive maintenance.
• Assist with the preparation of Mechanical construction budgets and reports.
• Analyse and use document and record management, progress, and project performance reporting compliance reporting.
• Advise of significant changes and proposed remedial action.
• Record non-conformances and initiate corrective actions.
• Participate in client/contractor meetings where required.

To be successful in this key role, you must have:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
• Minimum 3-5 years' Mechanical engineering experience ­
• Project and Operational experience ­
• Knowledge of project management plans, specifications, standards, and implications for project accountabilities
