Job description
Our Federal Government client has a great opportunity for a Review Officer at the APS6 level within their Internal Review and Appeals team. The position is for three months with the possibility of extensions. The Internal Review and Appeals Team is responsible for conducting statutory reviews of decisions to ensure the integrity of national qualifications issued by training providers, fostering confidence in the Departments decisions. Key Responsibilities:
Implementing a stewardship approach to ongoing regulatory reform
Maintaining effective partnerships
Providing regulatory policy advice
Collecting, analysing, interpreting, and disseminating data and information relating to vocational education and training
Undertaking reviews of internal decisions and managing cases in dispute in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal
