Your new role

Instructional Designer
12 months maximum term full-time opportunity with a competitive remuneration package

As an Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for creating engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer. You'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of employee training.

Your duties as the Instructional Designer will include but are not limited to:

Responsible for providing high-level strategic planning, change management, leadership, and direction for the organisation, supporting the achievement of a more sustainable community.
Collaborating with the change advisors and project teams to identify training needs and objectives related to ERP implementations.
Design and develop engaging and effective learning materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training, job aids, user guides, and other educational resources.
Utilise instructional design principles and methodologies to create a curriculum that meets diverse learning styles and levels.
Develop assessment tools to measure learning outcomes and effectiveness of training programs.
Support the facilitation of training sessions by providing hands-on instruction and support to end-users.


What you'll need to succeed

Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, or related field.
Previous experience in instructional design, preferably within a government or public sector setting.
Proven experience with ERP systems and related training programs.
Strong knowledge of instructional design models and adult learning principles.
Proficiency with e-learning tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
