Role and responsibilities include but are not limited to
• Assisting the Country Director in developing the export market business for Australian thermal and metallurgical coal to global end user markets.
• Conducting market surveys, analysing industry trends, and providing insights to the headquarters to gather and analyse market data on coal supply, pricing, and competitors in Australia.
• Networking, attending industry events, and establishing partnerships to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, regulatory bodies, and industry associations.
• Promoting the company's name, driving marketing campaigns, and identifying potential suppliers to support the supply efforts of the company in Australia
• Coordinating with shipping companies, load ports, port agents, testing companies and managing supply chain efficiency to manage smooth trade flow on coal business.
• Working with global sales offices of the company and keeping close watch on coal index and identifying and developing new business opportunities in the Australian coal market.
Skills and experience required
• Bachelor’s degree qualification
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Demonstrated success in setting and achieving sales targets and Implementing effective marketing strategies.
• Good leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve exceptional results.
• Good communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
