To be considered for this role, you will have:
Current AHPRA registration
Current and valid Australian National Police Check
Current COVID-19 vaccine certificate (fully vaccinated applicant is a must)
Great interpersonal skills & the ability to liaise with people from country Victoria and allied health
Hospitality style approach to cater to our resident's needs in their homes
Demonstrated leadership skills
Demonstrated knowledge of aged care accreditation standards
Duties include but not limited to:
Undertaking day to day assessments, developing, implementing, and evaluating care plans.
Actively encourage residents/consumers to participate in care planning and or care programs while ensuring confidentiality and respect for the patient’s privacy
Palliative care including complex pain management
Accept responsibility for resident care in a safe and therapeutic environment, ensuring clinical practice extends to the social and psychosocial needs of the residents
Medication administration and management consistent with quality use of medicines guidelines
Infection prevention and control programs
Actively participate in education and learning activities offered internally and as appropriate, externally.
