Our Telecommunications team works together to deliver projects to our customers, and support their end user telephony needs. The ideal candidate for our role will be skilled across multiple different technologies, with specialisation across Mitel and Teams Calling in particular. This role will give you the opportunity to deliver projects for new telecommunications systems, support existing implementations and work with our account managers on scoping new opportunities.
Duties:
In this role, you will be involved in most, if not all of the following:
- Scoping of technical project plans
- Configuration and deployment of multiple different telecommunications systems (Zoom Phone, Microsoft Teams Calling, MiVoice Business, MiVoice Connect)
- Configuring AudioCodes SBC's for advanced call manipulation
- Troubleshooting a wide range of unified communications problems
- Advanced troubleshooting skills for MiVoice Connect and Mivoice Business, AudioCodes SBCs
- Work alongside Technical Account managers to scope telecommunications projects
- Work with junior staff to train and upskill
- Keep abreast of new telecommunications technologies in the Telecommunications space
The ideal candidate will have most of the following:
- Proven experience as an telecommunications engineer
- Demonstrable expertise in managing and maintaining Telecommunications environments - specifically Mitel, Microsoft Teams Calling and Zoom Phone
- Possess great written and spoken communication skills in English
- Have experience in Virtualization platforms - ideally Hyper-V
- Be willing to assist the team with escalations and training where necessary
- Experience in network switching, routing and Firewalling will be very favorably viewed
