What you will enjoy doing
You will participate in risk assessments of current and proposed work practices and operations
Complete Take 5s, Safety Observations and Hazard reports as required. Fulfill JSAs for required tasks in accordance with company policies
You shall Carry out scheduled and unscheduled servicing and repairs, including Long Term Maintenance of Prime Movers, Tankers, Light Vehicles and/ or Plant and Machinery as directed on both company and external customer vehicles
Furthermore, you will carry out routine and specialist diagnosis of vehicle/plant failures and implement resolutions
Investigate and report all accidents, incidents, near misses or hazards identified in the work environment
Your responsibility also includes responding to and manage unplanned breakdowns and mechanical failures
