Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to manage and execute multiple civil project scopes, ensuring seamless integration of operational and strategic goals within the company’s framework. This role demands expertise in managing various civil works facets from planning to execution, adhering to stringent quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage multiple civil project scopes, overseeing subcontractor duties and assessing their monthly progress claims.
• Conduct quantity take-offs, schedule creation, and offer forward-looking planning for subcontractors to ensure adherence to critical paths.
• Engage in the subcontractor onboarding process including Request for Quotation (RFQ), procurement, and contract finalization.
• Actively manage Requests for Information (RFIs) or Design Change Requests (DCRs) with project designers, incorporating necessary design changes and ensuring continuous site operations.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and subcontractors to meet site-specific requirements and manage material procurement.
• Administer work permits, coordinate site tests, and manage daily site activities effectively.
• Coordinate traffic management plans, ensuring all Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS) are approved prior to commencement.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications by managing Quality Assurance processes, including lot management and Inspection and Test Plans (ITP).
• Uphold safety standards through regular site inspections, risk assessments, and Safety Work Method Statements (SWMS) development.
• Manage environmental controls, ensuring all necessary environmental permits and approvals are in place for designated work fronts.
• Address non-conformance issues on site, liaising with designers for rectifications and overseeing quality control measures.
• Monitor site activities, ensuring efficient coordination between subcontractors, designers, and other stakeholders for optimal project delivery.
• Prepare and finalize Project Completion Reports and ensure accurate documentation of all project-related activities.
• Determine appropriate construction methods, materials, and quality standards; draft and interpret specifications, drawings, and construction procedures.
• Organize and direct site labour, oversee the delivery of construction materials, plant, and equipment, and establish detailed site activity coordination programs.
• Obtain and analyze soil and rock samples to assess suitability and stability under imposed structures, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Review engineering drawings and specifications, estimate project costs, and prepare detailed cost plans for budget management.
• Monitor design changes, assess cost impacts, and negotiate design variations to maintain budget and project scope integrity.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering or related fields.
• Strong familiarity with engineering principles, construction methods, and project management.

Salary: We offer a competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $85,000 plus superannuation per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
