Applications are invited to fill the seasonal positions of Shift GMW (GMW Crushing) and Day Work GMW at Invicta Mill - Giru. The Mill is located in the Burdekin Region, approx. 40 minutes south of Townsville, and a short 25 minute drive north of Ayr.
The shift position involves 12hr shift hours on a 5/4 roster during our nominal crushing season, and paid overtime on non-rostered work days.
The day work GMW position consists of 8hr days Monday - Friday, with overtime opportunities on weekends.
General Mill Worker:
Carry out duties as required by the Operations Coordinator
Use of tools such as shovels, picks, mattocks, crowbars, sledgehammers, etc.
Shovelling of waste materials during clean-ups
Performing general housekeeping duties, including hosing, cleaning etc
Essential Criteria:
Current drivers licence
