As the tech industry continues to grow exponentially, we’re looking for Senior Recruitment Consultants to join us on our journey providing ‘go to market’ recruitment solutions across JAPAC.


As a Senior Recruitment Consultant, you will be a key driver of business development, identifying and attracting top talent and filling jobs to fuel growth for our clients. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand their needs, build strong relationships with candidates, and manage the entire recruitment process from sourcing to closing.

Responsibilities:

Sourcing & Screening:
• Utilize advanced Boolean search techniques, leverage professional networks and social media platforms to source high-calibre candidates for diverse roles and functions.
• Design and implement targeted sourcing campaigns to attract niche talent pools or fill challenging positions.
• Screen resumes and cover letters efficiently, identifying the most qualified and culturally aligned applicants for each position.
• Conduct initial phone interviews to assess suitability, gather further information, and schedule on-site interviews.

Interviewing & Assessment:
• Develop and conduct structured interviews using behavioural questioning techniques to assess skills, experience, cultural fit, and potential.
• Utilize situational judgment tests, case studies, and technical simulations where appropriate to objectively assess skills and knowledge.
• Provide constructive feedback to candidates throughout the interview process and maintain a positive candidate experience.
• Partner with hiring managers to develop the candidate assessment criteria and ensure alignment with team and company needs.

Negotiation & Closing:
• Present compelling offers to candidates and effectively negotiate compensation packages to secure top talent within budget constraints.
• Navigate salary discussions and benefits proposals with confidence and professionalism, upholding company policies and maintaining ethical practices.
• Manage offer stages including background checks and onboarding documentation, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.

Client Relationship Management:
• Develop and nurture strong relationships with hiring managers across different departments, regularly engaging in consultative conversations to understand their specific team needs and desired candidate profiles.
• Present insightful talent market analysis and trends to inform hiring decisions and optimize recruitment strategies.
• Keep hiring managers informed throughout the recruitment process, providing regular updates, proactive communication, and managing expectations.

Proactive Candidate Engagement:
• Cultivate a talent pipeline by building relationships with potential candidates through proactive outreach, attending industry events, and leveraging your network.
• Develop and manage a candidate database, proactively engaging with high-potential talent to build interest in future opportunities.
• Utilize employer branding strategies and candidate experience initiatives to attract and retain top talent.
Continuous Learning & Development:
• Stay ahead of the curve by actively researching industry trends, new recruitment tools and technologies, and best practices in talent acquisition.
• Participate in training programs and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
• Share your learnings and expertise with other team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.


Your background


Australian citizen, Permanent Resident or degree qualified with at least 2 years’ experience working in a 360-degree role (or 5 years’ experience without a degree to satisfy AUS visa requirements)
Clear and articulate communication skills, both written and verbal
Proven stakeholder management skills, with an ability to influence decision-making processes
