Come and join a friendly, family owned veterinary surgery in the best location in Qld. Landsborough / Glasshouse Mountains Vets are looking for an experienced veterinarian on the Sunshine Coast. You will complete the team of 4 FTE vets in the main clinic and 1FTE in the branch.
We provide an awesome service to our clients and their pets within the opening hours of 8-5:30 Monday to Friday and 8-12 on a Saturday morning. At other times our clients are served by the afterhours and specialist service only 20 minutes away. For us that means a great work / life balance to enjoy the beaches or the mountains just 15 minutes away.
You will love working with 3 very experienced vets with 7+, 25+ and 30+ years under their belts. We support new graduates and are currently mentoring 2 this year who are growing daily and showing that a supportive culture can make the transition to real life vet work very exciting and rewarding. Our nurses and customer service team come together to provide our patients with the best care possible.
The clinics are high service, and in house equipment allows advanced medicine and surgery to be performed – notably ultrasound, DR radiology, Full Idexx suite of blood machines and a spacious surgical suite. We perform orthopaedic and advanced soft tissue surgeries, and also offer reproductive services and chemotherapy.
The position is only becoming available due to the previous owner retiring.
Salary package for experienced veterinarians will be in the $100,000 - $130,000 range dependent on experience.
