Hellmuth Holdings Pty Ltd is looking for a qualified and experienced Welder/Boilermaker to work and be part of their dynamic team.
The overall purpose of this position is the day to day fabrication/welding within the boilermaker shop.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Welders/Boilermakers produce metal (ferrous and non-ferrous) fabricated products such as structures, frames, plate assemblies, pipe-work and vessels using tools, welding and thermal cutting equipment and fabrication techniques. Welds are undertaken to pre-determined standards and may be tested for compliance to required standards. Welders/Fabricators/Boilermakers use a wide range of hand tools and hand held power tools and workshop machines such as drills, grinders, clamps, benders and lifting equipment. Metal, Engineering and Associated Industries Award classification on completion: C10.
Duties of the Role:
- Operate: Hypertherm Plasma, MIG welders, press brake, guillotine, plate roller, punch and shear, section rolls, etc
- Drawing interpretation
A remuneration package between $70,000 to $80,000 per annum plus superannuation will be negotiated depending on skills and experience.
