WHAT YOU WILL DO
Safely set out the workspace as required according to plans, schedule, policies & procedures, SWMS etc.
Study drawings and building plans to select and order materials and timber, determine dimensions and assess procedures for installation
Erect & dismantle both conventional and modular formwork & Falsework for suspended slabs, columns, beams & walls
Install Blockouts, Cast in pipes and Conduits and other fixtures as required
Build conventional forms and edgeboards as required.
Measure, cut, nail and shape materials as required
Repair and maintenance as required to timber forms
Confirm footing set-out to design drawings using laser level and off-sets from Surveyor marks as required
Correct and safe use of all hand and power tools as well as elevated platforms
Work in accordance with accepted best practice to achieve design specification requirements in all construction activities.

White Card Construction Induction
Senior First Aid and CPR
Australian Driver’s license and regular access to a car
High risk work licences (desirable)
Hand and power tools
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE TO SUCCEED
Proficient carpentry skills to cut, measure, and assembly of conventional formwork and edgeboards as required.
Proficient skills in erecting and dismantling modular formwork systems.
3+ years proven experience in civil or related construction fields.
Experience in reading and interpret plans
Experience in following a SWMS/ CWMS or similar document
Physical fitness to perform the required tasks, including carrying of materials and accessing site.
Able to work autonomously or as part of a dynamic team,
Maintain a positive “can do” attitude with high attention to safety and quality
Excellent communication skills
Able to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug & alcohol screen and provide evidence of COVID vaccination to meet some site requirements.
