Senior Project Manager required for Local Government permanent opportunity Your new company Hays Recruitment are looking for an experienced Project Manager to step into a permanent role in one of Perth's most stunning locations. Your new role Within the Department of Infrastructure Services, you will be responsible for managing the full cycle project management of capital works projects for the Shire. Your primary responsibility will include:
Managing the initiation, planning, design, execution and close of multiple capital works projects
Preparation and execution of project management plans
Risk management
Engage stakeholders and manage consultation process
Leadership responsibilities including overseeing and mentoring the project development team, managing performance reviews, and training and development
Ensuring all works are completed according to design specifications
Stakeholder management and engagement
OSH responsibilities including maintaining the health and safety of all involved people, reporting hazards, incidents and accidents promptly and more
What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role you will need a thorough understanding and demonstrated experience in the project management processes.
Degree level Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Architecture or Equivalent
Experience in the delivery of Capital Projects
Knowledge and understanding of contract management and quality assurance
Advanced interpersonal skills
'C' Class Driver's Licence
Current National Police Clearance
