As Restaurant Manager at W Brisbane your areas of responsibility include restaurant operations, guest voice & profit maximisation, talent development and promotions in the Restaurant. This position will assist with promoting the venues, menu planning, maintaining standards, assist talent on the floor during peak periods and manage the property liquor inventories and controls. The Restaurant Manager will strive to ensure guest and talent satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget. Accountable for enforcing all legal obligations professionally and consistently. Determines training needed to accomplish goals and implements training plan. Strengthens the Beverage & Food culture by being a hands-on leader at all times.
You will also be responsible for the following:
Attracts guests by developing and implementing marketing, advertising, public and community relations programs, evaluating program results and identifying and tracking changing demands.
Owns restaurant and bar related social media posts and public event communications; monitors social media activity; responds to comments; analyzes posts/trends; corrects deficiencies
Creates network of sources to enable outreach and event opportunities.
Serves as the primary point of contact for any events or bar/lounge related community activities.
Interacts with liquor purveyors and purchases wine, beer and spirits for the outlets. Coordinates and books entertainment and events.
Handles the set-up and execution of all events to promote a world-class experience.
Participates in local networking activities that often take place off-property.
Activates specific brand strategies geared toward the customer experience.
Previous experience with Birch Street
RSA and RMLV Certified
Minimum of 5 years previous Restaurant Management experience
Previous Hotel experience
