Looking for an experienced Senior Estimator / Estimator to join a heavy manufacturing / mining business. Your new company Our client is an expanding business and currently have a need for a Senior Estimator & estimator to join their engineering team. Our client are a family owned business and provide services to the heavy manufacturing and mining industries in the Mackay and Bowen Basin regions. Your new role
Manage estimation and project coordination from enquiry to job execution and completion.
Communicate with internal and external customers regarding tenders, quotes, and estimates.
Coordinate, prepare, and submit tenders and estimates.
Assist in preparing, handing over, and monitoring job packages.
Review project timelines and completion schedules, and delegate tasks accordingly.
Work with management and project execution teams to create optimized solutions.
Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new customers.
Provide technical support to teams as needed.
Contribute to company growth and development to achieve core company goals.
What you'll need to succeed
Estimator experience in the heavy manufacturing, fabrication industry
Be living locally in the Mackay Region
Strong attention to detail
Proficient use of MS Office Suite, including SharePoint, Excel & Word
Ability to work autonomously and in a fast-paced environment
