Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 inclusive of superannuation
Location: Office location will be determined dependent on the right applicant, as we have offices based in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane
The Role
We’re looking for a passionate and talented Associate Analytics Consultant to join our rapidly growing and ambitious team. The Associate Consultant is jointly responsible for delivering reporting infrastructure and business intelligence solutions for key clients across all our agencies. This includes updating and maintaining existing reports and dashboards, creating new ETL / data pipeline processes, acquiring data feeds, and building data visualisations. This person will work closely with agency stakeholders to ensure the accurate delivery of information and data to key clients.
You’ll have the opportunity to apply your theoretical knowledge and skills to create meaningful business intelligence solutions across a wide variety of industries and expand your technical knowledge across a variety of platforms and technologies.
Reporting to the Data Science Manager, the Associate Consultant will work within a team of BI Consultants, Data Scientists and Data Engineers. This provides an exciting opportunity to grow and develop your skills in the years to come.
Required Experience
Candidates would typically be 1-3 years post-graduate and should have 1-2 years’ practical experience building reporting solutions (dashboards, data integration and BI), ideally within an enterprise business, agency or consultancy.
MS Office skills with advance knowledge in Excel.
Fluency in Python and SQL
Experience with Tableau, Google Looker Studio, Power BI and other similar visualisation tools.
Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, specifically from a development and deployment perspective.
A degree ideally in economics, stats or actuarial studies, computer science, data science or a quantitative discipline.
Experience with data cleaning and harmonisation.
Experience in at least one cloud stack such as GCP, AWS or Azure. GCP preferred.
Excellent presentation skills, distilling complex analysis and concepts into concise business-focused takeaways
Preferred Experience
Any experience in statistical modelling and machine learning techniques (feature engineering, regression, classification, segmentation, cross validation, Bayesian techniques)
Working knowledge of infrastructure as code tools (i.e. Terraform, CloudFormation) is an advantage.
Understanding of digital media and advertising platforms, i.e. ad servers, Facebook, Google Ads, Campaign Manager, DV360, etc.
Front-end web development (HTML, JavaScript, CSS etc)
