HYDRAULIC FITTER (Queanbeyan)
Join a long established business that provides hydraulic engineering services and support to a wide range of industries throughout Canberra and Queanbeyan. We provide a comprehensive range of fluid power products, services, repairs, maintenance and system solutions for both mobile and industrial equipment.
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Hydraulic Fitter to join out team. The ideal person will have a strong understanding of hydraulic systems and components and will preferably have worked for a hydraulic company. You will undertake maintenance & repair work (planned & reactive) on a broad range of equipment.
Ability to read & understand schematics; Experience in testing & troubleshooting hydraulic systems; Carry out service & safety inspections on mobile & fixed plant; Accurately complete associated paperwork; Ensure tasks are carried out to company standards; Maintain clean & safe workshop.
You will need excellent time management and organisation skills. Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering (Fitting & Machining). Post trade fluid power qualifications desirable. Experience in a jobbing or hydraulic workshop an advantage. Attention to detail and strong work ethic is a must. Great attitude and team player. Must have a drivers licence & own vehicle.
* Full-time: Monday to Friday (7.00am to 3.06pm + overtime as per business requirements) - occasional 1/2 day Saturday
* Above award wages & conditions ($70,000 - $75,000) + overtime + tool allowance + leave loading + super + uniform & PPE + free onsite parking.
