Chef

Pasture Balmoral is located on the waterfront of Sydney’s idyllic Balmoral Beach and is now looking for a passionate and experienced Chef to join their team on a full-time basis.
The ideal candidate will be able to maintain the high standards of food quality, preparation, service, safety, and hygiene that distinguish our restaurant.

Primary duties and responsibilities of the right candidate:


Create seasonal menu and other special menus;



Inventorying food, ingredient, and supply stock to prepare and plan vendor orders;
Manage the budget;



Ensure food standards, preparation, presentation, and cooking techniques meet our high standards;



Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation and ensure appealing plate presentation;
Demonstrating cooking techniques and procedures;



Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area



Hire, train and manage kitchen staff;


 

Skills and experience:

At least 3 years of previous work experience, management skills, excellent communication and organisational skills

 

Location: Mosman, NSW and Kirribilli, NSW
Salary: Average salary between $73,150 - 73,150 based on skills and experience
Full Time 38 h/week
