A & Z Painting Group Pty Ltd, a valued client of ours, is actively seeking a full-time Painter. A & Z Painting Group Pty Ltd is a premier painting contractor known for its commitment to exceptional customer service and quality workmanship. They offer a comprehensive range of painting services for both residential and commercial projects, including custom paint jobs, enamel spray finishes, high-access work, and power washing. The company prides itself on its attention to detail and uses the industry's best paints to ensure a perfect finish. A & Z Painting Group works closely with clients on color selection and project coordination, guaranteeing customer satisfaction on every job.? Details of the position are as follows:
Position: Painter
Location: 15 Callander Road, Noble Park VIC 3174
Salary Range: $75k - $80k plus superannuation
Tasks and Duties:
1. Choose appropriate paints for each project.
2. Prepare paints by mixing pigments, oils, thinners, and drying additives as needed.
3. Set up the work area with necessary materials such as drop sheets, ladders, and scaffolding.
4. Prepare all surfaces for painting.
5. Apply paints, varnishes, and stains using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
6. Install wallpaper, ensuring patterns match and edges are trimmed.
7. Repair windows, replace glass, and lay or repair wall and floor tiles when required.
8. Maintain cleanliness and safety of all equipment and work areas.
9. Ensure high-quality work and adherence to project deadlines.
10. Communicate with clients to understand their painting requirements.
To be eligible you must have:
1. Proven professional experience of over three years as a painter.
2. Must have successfully completed an AQF Qualification either a Certificate III in Painting and Decorating or formal training that is comparable
3. Strong knowledge of painting techniques and tools.
4. Attention to detail and quality
5. White/Red Card
6. Tickets/Licences - EWP, Boom etc
7. Experience on commercial sites
