French Restaurant in St Kilda is on the hunt for his/her new HeadChef.
- Minimum 5 years experience as Head-Chef or similar position.
- Experience in French cuisine is mandatory.
- Fluent in English
- Live locally or within 5km of St Kilda

Your different missions will be but not limited to:
• Planning and designing menus
• Calculating costs and liaising with suppliers
• Directing kitchen operations and managing kitchen staff
• Overseeing the food preparation, cooking, and cleaning processes
• Delegating tasks and resolving issues as they arise
• Ensuring compliance with hygiene and health and safety regulations
• Liaising with the general manager to ensure operations run smoothly
• Ensuring all ingredients are fresh and meet quality standards

We are a small establishment with 34 seats inside + 16 outside. On a busy day, we get up to 60 covers. 38 on average.
Service hours* are:
• Wednesday // Dinner only (prep day)
• Thursday to Saturday // Lunch & Dinner
• Sunday // Breakfast & Lunch & Dinner
*We are planning on a change of opening hours over this winter and most likely move to a dinner only, Monday to Sunday. TBC
