Excavator Operator Hanson is one of Australia's leading suppliers of heavy building materials to the construction industry. We produce aggregates, including crushed rock, sand, gravel and road base from a number of locations across Australia. We are currently seeking self-motivated and enthusiastic Excavator Operator to join the team at our Diggers Rest Quarry in VIC, approx. 40 minutes drive Northwest of Melbourne CBD. This is a full-time position with overtime and weekend work according to business needs. In your new role with us, you will:
Carry out day to day operation and maintenance of various vehicles, plant, and equipment.
Operate a heavy vehicle (excavator/front end loader/dump truck). This role will predominantly be on an excavator every shift.
Perform general labour activities including cleaning, hosing and shoveling.
