The objective of the position is to ensure that TOMRA’s warehouse activities and tasks are performed to a high standard across Arndell Park warehouse. The purpose of this role is to ensure the warehousing function operates efficiently and effectively. As a member of the warehousing team, this role is critical in ensuring that service teams are adequately equipped to perform their tasks.
- Complete pick-packer requirements to support various business functions
- Perform quality checks on equipment and inventory
- Receive, unload and process new stock
- Correctly store new stock when shipments arrive
- Assist Warehouse & Logistics Manager in day-to-day activities within the warehouse
- Operate the forklift to assist in the efficient functioning of the warehouse
- Report any discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor
- Ensure that the warehouse space and its equipment is maintained and safe to use
- Carry out warehousing duties as requested by Warehouse Supervisor
- Ensure you take reasonable care for your own health and safety
- Ensure you take reasonable care that your actions or inactions do not adversely affect the health and safety of others
- Ensure all incidents and hazards at work are reported accurately and in a timely manner
- Analyse areas of potential improvement of processes and report to local service team
