Reporting to the National Sales Manager – Shell Card, you will manage a large customer base of both commercial and Fleet Management Organisations (FMO’s) Australia wide. The role will see you manage an existing customer base and seek new opportunities from them, as well as securing new customers. You will have autonomy in the role, and be responsible for executing customer sales strategies to deliver Viva Energy’s growth aspirations across our growing retail network. The role will require you to work closely with departments across the organisation, and build strong relationships to unlock value. You will be part of a team that works closely together to leverage knowledge, skills and experience, along with the broader Viva Energy organisation that shares a common purpose, helping people reach their destinations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and managing existing customer relationships
- Managing day to day operational requirements for customers
- Seeking out and converting growth opportunities
- Following a strong sales process to achieve your targets
- Develop Strategic plans for all key customers
- Commercial accountability to structure deals, including complex negotiations
- Tender response development and negotiation through to completion
- Identifying opportunities to meet customer needs (existing and future)
