Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electronics Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, testing, programming, and implementing electronic systems and devices to meet the needs of our clients and support our company's growth initiatives. Position: Electronics Engineer
Salary: $72k - $74k (excluding employee bonus) plus 11% superannuation
Location: 11 Rays Wy, Pakenham VIC 3810
Job Type: Permanent position, Full time. Must be available to work on weekends and public holidays.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop electronic circuits, components, and AI camera systems based on project requirements and specifications.
2. Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and prototyping to validate design concepts and ensure technical feasibility.
3. Programming and troubleshooting of low-power LoRaWAN IoT devices and establishing data communications.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, hardware engineers, and project engineers, to integrate electronic systems into end-to-end solutions.
5. Perform testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of electronic hardware and firmware to ensure functionality, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
6. Generate technical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, datasheets, and test reports, to support product development and manufacturing processes.
7. Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in electronics engineering to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
2. At least two years' proven experience in designing and implementing electronic systems, low-powered IoT circuits, AI cameras and devices.
3. Proficiency in electronic design tools, such as Altium Designer, Cadence, Xilinx.
4. Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics, microcontrollers, AI cameras, LoRaWAN sensors, and signal processing techniques.
5. Experience with PCB layout and design for manufacturability (DFM) principles.
6. Familiarity with MQTT, Modbus, and BACnet communication protocols commonly used in IoT environments.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
8. Effective communication skills and the ability to present technical concepts and ideas clearly and concisely.
9. Project engineering expertise is desired.
