Majestic Glass is a premier provider of high quality glass, windows, and doors. Due to significant growth in our business, we are seeking a suitably experienced professional glazier to join our small and friendly team.
Possess experience in glass replacement and glazing
The Role
Measure and cut glass to the required sizes and shapes using glass cutters, saws, and other tools.
Install glass in windows, skylights, storefronts, display cases, and other fixtures in buildings.
Remove broken or damaged glass and install new glass, ensuring a secure and airtight fit.
Apply sealants and weatherproofing materials to glass edges and joints to secure and insulate installations.
Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine the type of glass required and the installation procedure.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent injuries and accidents. Wear protective gear and handle materials safely.
Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of all tools and equipment used in the job.
Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide professional advice on glass types, design, and installation methods.
Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and client expectations.
