Lucan Engineering are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Mechanical Engineering Technician to join their team in Lidcombe NSW 2141.
The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
- Assemble and install mechanical systems
- Collect and analyse date related to mechanical engineering jobs.
- Draw, design, plan and implement mechanical aspects of technology or other products
- Assist in preparing conventional and computer-assisted design (CAD) engineering designs, drawings and specifications
- Carry out a limited range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components and materials
- Assist in the design of moulds, tools, dies, jigs and fixtures for use in manufacturing processes
- Assist in inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects
- Participate in the installation, repair and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ideally have Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related
- A minimum of three years’ experience
- The ability to work in a team environment
Salary range is $70,000-$85,000pa commensurate with experience
