The Renison mine is located on Tasmania’s beautiful West Coast between the towns of Zeehan and Rosebery.

Renison is currently experiencing an exciting phase of development, characterised by a robust "Life of Mine Plan" and an ongoing commitment to capital reinvestment. This strategic approach is designed to enhance health, safety, environmental sustainability, and operational efficiency. About the role
We are looking for a Production Geologist on a full-time basis reporting to the Senior Mine Geologist. This position supports the Production Geology function within the Resource Development and Planning Department (RDP).
This position is being offered on 8 days on 6 days off, 12-hour day shift roster.
Core responsibilities
• Geological mapping
• Face sampling
• Data entry of geological and production information
• Supervision of drilling programs
• Maximise grade and minimise dilution through effective geological control while ore is being extracted from underground workings
• Ensure all directions of the Senior Mine Geologist and Manager Resource Development and Planning are met
• Ensure sampling conducted by Geological Technicians is to the highest possible standard
About you
To be successful in this role you will have a tertiary qualification in Geology and a minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role with knowledge of Microsoft Office. A Basic understanding of databases or 3D modelling software would be an advantage.
You will need to have a c-class licence and be comfortable and able to work both un-supervised and as part of a team whilst demonstrating strong communication and organisational skills enabling you to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
