Council is currently seeking 3 enthusiastic Team Leaders Civil Construction. These positions manage crews and staff undertaking maintenance works to ensure the teams achieve the scheduled works and services contained in the maintenance programs in an efficient, timely and effective manner. Maintenance works include construction of roads, drainage, footpaths, gravel re-sheeting, heavy patching, bridgework, reconstruction of culverts, kerb and gutter.
The position also provides an elevated level of service in the maintenance of Councils? Infrastructure and during the construction of capital projects.
We are seeking candidates that take pride in their work, have a positive attitude, are punctual, reliable, hardworking, and able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment. The candidate will bring the following to the role:
Certificate IV in Civil Construction or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience in roads and drainage related construction activities
High level of communication and interpersonal
