Our client Serenity Hair & Co. Pty Ltd is one of the leading and busy hair salons in Surry Hills. Their experienced team of hair stylists offer a range of services including haircuts, hair colouring, straightening and styling.
The client is looking to fill a full time - permanent position for creative, experienced and energetic Hairdresser with in-depth experience in colour application, cutting, must be proficient in both women’s and men's cutting, clippering and fading.
The employer is looking for experienced and motivated person who is qualified as a Hairdresser and is capable of serving a high volume of customers. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to stay current with the latest hair trends and techniques.
In this role your main responsibilities include:
• Provide a wide range of hairdressing services, including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments.
• Consult with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
• Recommend suitable hairstyles and treatments based on clients' hair type and condition.
• Stay updated with the latest hairdressing trends and techniques.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering outstanding service.
• Promote salon products and services to clients.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations.
To be successful in this role you must:
• be qualified with relevant qualification and minimum two years of experience
• be capable to meet targets without supervision
• have excellent customer service skills
• understanding of colours and chemical composition
• be self-motivated and creative
• be able to work under pressure
Professional presentation, great time management skills and a commitment to the success of the business will be an added advantage to succeed in this role.
