Salary: $74,000 plus 11% superannuation

Our client, Eylandt Enterprises, operates a well-established convenience store committed to providing exceptional service and quality products to customers. Eylandt Enterprises store is a cornerstone of the community and prides itself on creating a welcoming and efficient shopping environment.
The client is looking for a highly motivated full-time and experienced Retail Supervisor to join its team. The Retail Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing store operations, ensuring a high level of customer service, and supporting the store manager in meeting sales and operational goals. This role requires a proactive individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for retail.
You will need to have had previous supervisory experience at this level in a hands-on role including engaging staff, rostering, stock control, and budgeting.
Minimum Requirements:
• AQF Certificate III in the relevant field OR at least one year relevant experience in a similar role
In this role your main responsibilities include:
• Supervise and lead a team of retail staff, providing guidance and support.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Restock shelves and maintain attractive displays
• Report on sales performance and develop strategies to increase sales
• Assist customers with purchases and provide product recommendations
• Maintain store standards, including cleanliness, product displays, and stock levels.
• Assist in training and developing team members.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Manage inventory, including stock replenishment and ordering.
• Monitor and achieve sales targets and KPIs.
• Conduct regular cash handling and banking procedures.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
The successful candidate will have a passion for the retail sector, be career focused and have strong management qualities. Other key skills and experience will include:
• Be approachable and confident when interacting with customers
• Have an eagerness to learn about new products
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Financial acumen and experience with sales analysis and reporting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
• A drive to achieve store and individual sales budgets and KPI's
• An eye for detail and high visual merchandising standards
