The Role
Agri Labour Australia Pty Ltd is seeking someone with a genuine passion for working in the Human Resources industry to join our energetic recruitment company. The position available is for a full time Recruitment Consultant based at our Brisbane office in Queensland.
The successful candidate will be offered an annual salary of $90,000 to $100,000 plus superannuation.
You will be required to advise and provide recruitment services in support of Agri Labour Australia's human resource policies, programs and business. Responsibilities will include recruitment, selection, induction, post placement support, training and development.
The Recruitment Consultant’s Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Ensure the job vacancies are filled in accordance with anti-discrimination and EEO legislation.
• Interviewing and placing interested candidates for Agriculture working opportunities in Australia.
• Conducting reference checks where appropriate.
• Ensure selected candidates are matched to the requirements of the allocated positions.
• Ensure all candidates are progressed and managed through the correct process.
• Ensure candidates have completed mandatory training and/or qualifications required for each role.
• Build and maintain strong rapport with all levels of our candidates.
• Assisting of logistical arrangements and tracking for arrival dates.
• Assist in the post-placement of all candidates, ensuring they are well-settled, and satisfied with their living & job conditions.
• Attendance to all nominated staff meetings and company activities.
• Participate in performance and strategy reviews.
• Support the operations manager in the development of internal recruitment systems and WH&S processes and procedures.
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will:
• Understand intercultural relationships
• Have a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
• Possess a confident, outgoing personality balanced with a strong 'work orientated' attitude to get the task done
• Have an excellent phone manner and communication skills
• Have good computer literacy (Outlook, Word and Excel in particular)
• Have completed a Bachelor’s Degree or higher
