In this role, you will report to the HR Manager and your remit will include hiring across Waterco and Swimart (franchise & retail roles) in Australia and New Zealand:
Play a pivotal role in attracting top talent by managing the entire recruitment lifecycle, from advertising vacancies to onboarding new hires.
Partner with hiring managers to understand their needs, develop compelling job descriptions, and provide market-competitive salary information.
- Utilize your strong sourcing skills to identify and connect with qualified candidates.
- Conduct initial phone screens, interviews, interview appointment setting and reference & documentation checks to ensure we find the best people for the job.
- Manage our HR information systems and maintain accurate personnel records in conjunction with the payroll officer
- Foster a positive candidate experience and deliver excellent service to hiring managers.
- Collate and curate engaging internal communications for our in-house newsletter.
- Be a brand ambassador for our Employee Value Proposition (EVP), promoting the benefits of working at Waterco.
- Assist with employee engagement activities, including events like Long Service Awards and the Christmas party.
- Assist with general administration (mobile phone, corporate fleet, travel). You'll be a great fit if you have:
Minimum 2 years' recruitment experience, preferably within a similar industry environment.
Demonstrated success in attracting high-calibre candidates and achieving hiring goals.
Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and current market trends.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
A proactive and results-oriented approach.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
